The Moodle master himself! Founder and lead developer of Moodle, Martin is also the Managing Director of Moodle Pty Ltd, the company at the centre of the Moodle project, based in Perth, Western Australia. As lead developer for Moodle he guides Moodle releases, maintains the roadmap and standards, and manages both paid and volunteer programmers.
Curt Bonk is Professor of Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University. Bonk offers unique insights into the intersection of business, education, psychology, and technology. A well-known authority on emerging technologies for learning, he has coauthored several widely used technology books, including The World is Open, Empowering Online Learning and The Handbook of Blended Learning.
Helen has over 27 years experience working in Higher Education and extensive experience in educational innovation and its practical implementation. In her various roles she has been and continues to be a catalyst for promoting interest and developments in teaching, learning, research and technical support. Helen is currently the Director of the Teaching and Learning Centre at the University of Canberra, one of the first Australian universities to move to Moodle.
David Parkin is one of the best motivational speakers in Australia and his achievements as a football player and coach are outstanding. David originally trained as a primary school teacher and has spent eighteen years in Teacher Education. He is presently a Lecturer in Health, Physical Education and Recreation at a leading tertiary institute in Australia.
